A Haunted House: A family gets sorrogate home
Solving a mistery of the haunted house in Strašice near Rokycany region is not getting well. The experts rack their brains over without any success. Mracek’s family has been experiencing breaking glass, burning sockets and towels. However, the house is disconnected. If the scientists does not find out the source in following days, the family will have to leave their house.
„The village is an owner of nearly 400 flats so we could give them one temporarily,“ offers a major of the village near a milatary area of Brdy. The village is not the only helper. Even Mracek’s neighbours help solving the mystery.
How do Mracek’s residents feel about it?
Some of them try to help. For example, Martin Lang, had invited his friend (geophysicist) who measured the surroundings on Sunday. Unfortunately, he has not been able to explain anything yet. He has not measured any values. We are still waiting for the results from our Czech Telecommunication Department.
Do you know what will happen if the scientific measurements fails?
There are still some considerations and directions that might be followed. But if we go through all the alternatives we will recommend Mracek’s to leave thein house.
Will the village offer them surrogate home?
Surely they will. The village is an owner of so many flats that it should not be a problem to offer them one temporary. At least, until the case is solved.
Eye-witness’s testimonies about breaking glass and
burning sockets
The burning sockets were seen by employees of Zajíček Elektro who tried to find problems in wiring.at the beginning of the strange events.
J.Z.: „In the bathroom, I suddenly saw twice how an unplugged socket
caught a fire, my colleagues M. H. and B. R. even saw a
switch burning that we later took to our company as a curiosity. It worked
inside but the outer plastic was singed.
The same effect was noticed by R. P., a chief
executive of ČEZ Distribution:
“I went inside the
bathroom and I suddenly spotted soot, smoke and a flame from a socket while a
lady was shouting that the another one is on fire. It went out spontaneously
but looked scary.”
A boy was injured by a water battery that was
also checked by the technicians. M. H and B. R. from Zajíček Elektro:
“It’s rubbish to
think that the people don’t say truth or make it up. I
still see their fear in their faces and how they were changing of the guards.“
Cracking light bulbs occured shortly after the ČEZ specialists started their investigation.
M. Z., a ČEZ technician:
„We were in the house whilst the elektricity was switched off and then
lighting bulbs started to burst. They literally were flying away.“
The same happened to another ČEZ specialist from Olomouc distribution service – F. Ž.:
„Unluckily, I noticed only the breaking glass, not the inflame. We took a measurement and excluded that it could be caused by our electricity network. We measured only weak radiation . It is important to have it measured by someone with proper equipment. Inflaming of fireproof plastics can not be simulated by a fighter, you can try it. Furthermore, it is difficult to pretend to be burnt, I had such kind of injury in the past.“

The mysterious house is still on fire, even the handkerchief has burnt up at boy´s nose.
The discreet house in Strašice in Rokycany region has been enclosed by police tape for five days. Mr. and Mrs. Mráčkovi and their son living in this house are tired and upset.
In their house where they have lived in for 9 years the lightbulbs have been cracking and the stuff made from glass have been breaking up for 1 month.
The house is disconected from electricity. The scientists are at wits´end. The police tape burnt up on Friday.
„Mother, mother – it is burning again,“ Jirka Mráček calls from the kitchen. The blueish flame is blazing from the black socket placed above the kitchen unit. Than the photographer of MF Dnes takes a photo Jirka is blowing the flame off automatically.
Father Jiří takes a look at his watch and writes down : 14:45 the socket in the kitchen.
It has been eight event since morning. The most events have happend in children´s room. On Friday evening the handkerchief burnt up directly at boy´s nose .
It wasn´t quiet here in the afternoon. The drawing started burning at one o´clock and did it again three times till there was nothing left. The edge of the curtain burnt away at half past two. „In the afternoon the towel hanging from the rail above the bath started burning“ – says Hana Mráčkova showing the rest of the towel in the bathroom.
Both husbands are tired and sleepy. „ At night it´s quiet here, but we aren´t able to sleep well. „All the day we are walking up and down from one room to another and watching over the house not to burn down“ says Jiří Mráček tiredly. They had a fire it their house 48times on Friday and 60times on Monday.
„We want to know the source of fire in order to get it out and finish all this situation,“wish Mráčkovi. My wife and son are sleeping out at near parents´ house. Mr.Mráčeka is staying at their house despite that police has banned it.
On Monday the workers from Czech communication office are going to Mráčkovi to measure all values. Institutions the suspicion fell on them first distance this cause. Army of the Czech Republic has assured the community that they don´t operate any equipment in Military area Brdy influencing events in Mračkovi´s house in Strašice .
The nearest low power device operatér by Department of Defence in area Praha on the other side of Military area Brdy. They are low power device which are unable to cause the said effect, they have been operatér for a long time and no change has occured in them recently. It concerns other army power device and training in Military area Brdy. The army power device as a reason of anomalies we can eliminace.“ Said Jan Šulc of general staff.
Also Czech radiocommunication distance the anomalies.“Czech radiocommunication doesn´t operate any digital coverage in this area and hasn´t increased the effort of any broadcast equipment,“ said Marie Fianová, speaker.
